opaline

~ for everything there is a mirror. a perfect replication.
a sequel. a sequence.
a representation to destroy or build a context.

what is real and what is thought? what is touch and what is envisioned?
what is invented and what is projected?

there is a synthesized counterpart to every world.
to all thought there is a thinker. a creator.

we are the gods of our virtual landscape. ~

"Opaline is the music of Portland based ambient artist Hunter P. Thompson. finely wrought and contemplative, 'Shade Virtual' takes you through oozy, fine mists into a synesthetic sonic ocean glistening with waves of crystal and turquoise. for those of you who have already encountered his previous new age recordings, this album will reward your expectations." habitat tapes
